Level 10: SEASON 1 PRODUCTION - WRAPPED

Today we finished shooting the final episode of Hustle - so that's a wrap on season 1's production!

A huge thank you to our dedicated crew and cast for working so hard and being such a joy to collaborate with:

To Matt Strickland, our fearless leader, who built a crazy rig for a shot Rekha only KIND OF thought could work.

To Jamie Li, our tireless DP, for her constant attention to detail and lighting design.

To Pierce Robinson, for his extremely calm energy and prolific know-how.

To Jesse Roth, our quick, dedicated, and schedule-savvy A.D.

To Hayley Wagner and Nick Chirumbolo, our extremely talented and efficient sound crew.

To Dave O'Neill, Dan Zabludovsky, and Pots N Pans Productions, for their amazing guidance, producing assistance, and grip assistance.

To Dustin Molina, Derek Pons, and Colby Smith for their amazing ability to do GRUNT WORK.

To Sam Knowles and Lizzie Logan, for supervising the hell out of our script.

To Maritza Montanez and Tao Yang, our fast and on-top-of-their-shit PAs.

To Pop Chips and Calexico for their generous food donations.

And to Kickstarter, for their kind-hearted staff, who helped us every step of the way!

I MEAN, LOOK AT THIS STUFF.

We had a lot of fun filming this series, and plan on keeping the momentum going into the post-production stage. So stay tuned for more updates and surprises in the Hustle cinematic universe - and thank you so much for your support!

Funded.

We did it.

Thank you so much to our backers for making Hustle possible. We are truly thankful.

But guess what? This isn't over! We have a STRETCH GOAL in order to hire an extremely talented editor that will make Hustle sparkle even more.

Our stretch goal is $13,890!

With this extra money, Hustle will look better, flow better, and get done faster.

And in honor of that, we are rolling out TWO new rewards:

WOW. So please, spread the word about Hustle

WE ONLY HAVE TEN DAYS LEFT TO MAKE THIS THING HAPPEN!

Love,
Rekha + the Hustle team

Level 6: Gathering Rewards

Pals! We are feverishly gathering AMAZING ARTWORK for our Hustle Kickstarter rewards. The Kickstarter is set to launch soon, so keep your eyes open for that!

In the meantime, check out the Hustle Instagram to snag a peek at what we've been up to as well as what our lady artists have been cookin' up - we've got posters, we've got paintings, we've got comics... and that's just the start.

Level 4: THE NEW YORK TELEVISION FESTIVAL

Hustle's pilot script is an Official Selection at the 2016 New York Television Festival! As Benjamin Franklin once said, "al;skjropwiejr;alksdjfa;skdjfa;oisdfalskdfj."

Peep that Deadline Hollywood. Peep that IndieWirePeep. And stay tuned for even more Hustle updates. Hey, maybe things will get even better and the next post will be "We Made A Million Dollars And Egyptian People Get To Be In Movies About Egyptian People."
